A Solution for the Immigrant Problem

There is no need for all the actions of force against our immigrant population.  The solution is simple.  Immigrants would not come if there were no jobs.  They come because they can work.  So all we need to do is find legal workers to do all the jobs they now do.

We could simply start to do our own lawns and landscaping.  If we all started to do our mowing and weeding, there would be no need for the landscaping crews.  Businesses could solve the problem by releasing all their workers for 2 hours a week to do the landscaping around the building, to plant the trees and flowers, mow lawns, dig ditches for watering systems, blow leaves and grass off the pavement, and spread beauty bark.  I am sure the lawyers, doctors, and accountants could learn to do that.  They are very smart people.

New roofing crews would need to be found, and other construction workers.  It is hot work, but certainly for the good of the nation, we could find native born US Citizens willing to climb the ladders and hoist the roofing into place.  We could find people who would be willing to chip off the old roofing, put it in dump trucks and haul it away.  Real Americans would be able to learn framing and plumbing, and put in the windows, too.

Spring is coming.  Maybe we could let students out of high school for a month to plant.  There are crops to plant, and someone has to climb the steep hillsides with 40 lbs of trees on their backs and a Pulaski to dig holes.  Los Angeles is going to need to be revegged, so a month might not be enough time, but these students could be our planting crews.

Then there is healthcare.  We have a lot of foreign workers in hospitals and clinics.  Perhaps this could be solved if we just didn’t use healthcare.  My knee is starting to hurt, but knee replacements seem like a luxury that is costing us the purity of our nation.  If we were to eliminate all the frivolous healthcare work done, things done to control pain that is not threatening life could be prohibited. Preventative care is certainly a waste of time.  We could ask people not to go to the doctor until they are really, really sick.   That would leave our real American doctors and nurses deal with the life and death stuff.

Our senior population is frequently served by immigrant personnel.  Nursing homes and senior living facilities are hotbeds of immigrant workers.  How about if we all take our seniors into our homes and care for them ourselves.  Each adult child would be responsible for providing care for their parents in their home.  Adults without dependent parents could take in some of the childless seniors.  That would also release construction crews who are building the many senior living facilities also.  That would get rid of a lot of immigrant jobs.

And then there are the chickens!  Jobs in chicken process plants, and for that matter all meat processing plants, often go to immigrant workers.  You know, killing, plucking, gutting, butchering, are all labor intensive and not very desirable jobs.  Perhaps if we all became vegetarians we could solve that problem.  Of course, we would have to find people willing to grow and process our vegetables, grains, and fruits, but that hot/cold, dirty, difficult work could go to the people currently involved in border patrol.  No jobs, no one would want to enter the US, legally or otherwise.

I think we might have to do more of our own cooking.  All those Chinese restaurants are teeming with aliens.  And there are our fingernails, which might have to remain a natural color and we might have to clip them ourselves, but a small price to pay for the purity of this country.

Much that is currently done by immigrant population could be done in other countries.  Microsoft could move its operations to India, for example.  Then those high paying jobs in coding and web design would be in other countries and we wouldn’t have to import tech workers to do that.

There, problem solved.  Let’s just do our own work, and we won’t have to listen to all that foreign jabber or deal with people whose skin doesn’t match our own.
